§1.3 · FOUNDATIONS · 4 MIN READ · EDITION 1.0
Scope and preferred end state
The guidance applies across the wind lifecycle where AI supports quality and APQP work under normal records, decision rights and controls.
In scope are risk-analysis support, evidence verification, requirements retrieval, predictive quality, anomaly detection, visual inspection assistance, root-cause analysis, non-conformity triage and APQP gate readiness. Model design, cybersecurity engineering and data-protection law remain specialist disciplines with their own ownership.
The preferred end state is not a collection of disconnected tools with separate data copies. It is a quality and APQP process in which selected steps are faster, better evidenced and more preventive while normal records and decision rights remain intact.
PUT THIS INTO PRACTICE
- 01Map the use case to one existing process step.
- 02Decide where its output becomes a normal quality record.
- 03Identify the normal escalation path when evidence is weak.
