Will the control survive?

Evidence must outlive the configuration that produced it; operational controls must anticipate change.

Record the exact model or rule version, prompt or configuration, data window, thresholds, reviewer, and decision. Treat every material change as a question about impact, not as an invisible maintenance task.

Test drift in use, people, inputs, suppliers, processes, and reference criteria. Define an owner, cadence, trigger, and stop condition before go-live.
