Six guiding principles

Start from the quality problem, build on evidence, preserve human accountability, validate the task, control configuration and proportion control to consequence.

A project begins with a measurable quality decision and a baseline, not a model selection. If no one can name what improves and by how much, there is no acceptance criterion to test.

The source evidence, metadata and access control have more influence on quality than a sophisticated model used on unreadable or superseded information. Evaluation is performed against representative work, including hard, borderline, incomplete and no-finding cases.
