Is there a decision worth improving?

Begin with the quality problem and the decision it supports—not with a model or a software feature.

Write down the current manual process, its baseline, and the consequence of getting it wrong. A repetitive task is not automatically a good AI candidate. The useful question is whether the result will improve a decision that matters.

A good first use case has a named owner, a stable input, a visible output, and a human who can act on the finding. If nobody can describe the decision after the output, stop and clarify the work before building.
