Choose a use case that deserves AI

A good first use case produces a defensible number within a quarter. It has a real process complaint, a named owner, accessible evidence and a reviewable outcome.

The most exciting problem is rarely the best first problem. Start where a recurring task has a measurable baseline, a clear accountable owner, enough evidence to test and a human who can verify the result.

A low data-readiness score is a signal that the first project is an evidence-foundation project. Treat risk separately from desirability: risk determines the control model, not whether the idea sounds attractive.

PUT THIS INTO PRACTICE

  1. 01List the current manual task and its cost.
  2. 02Score evidence readiness before committing budget.
  3. 03Keep the first scope narrow enough to evaluate on real cases.
